Terms of Use

The rules for using the Royal Protection Client Portal

Last updated August 28, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to the Royal Protection Client Portal, provided by Royal Protection NYC (“we”, “us”). By signing in to or using the portal you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the portal.

These terms cover the portal software only. The security services we perform for you are governed by your separate service agreement or signed estimate with Royal Protection. If the two ever conflict on a question about the services themselves, your service agreement controls.

What the portal does

The portal is a billing and records tool for existing clients. Through it you can view invoices, estimates, statements and service reports, pay invoices by card, raise a billing dispute, and download copies of your documents.

Accounts and access

  • Portal accounts are issued by us to existing clients. There is no public self-registration.
  • Your username and password are personal to your organization. Keep them confidential and do not share them outside the people authorized to see your billing.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your credentials.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your credentials have been compromised, and we will reset them.
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the portal. We may also suspend or end access if an account is misused or your business relationship with us ends.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access records belonging to another client.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the security of the portal or its underlying systems.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the portal.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the portal for other users.
  • Use the portal for any unlawful purpose, or to upload unlawful or malicious content.

Invoices and payment

Amounts shown in the portal are for security and protection services already performed or scheduled under your agreement with us. Payment terms, due dates and any late charges are stated on each invoice. Card payments are processed by Stripe; by paying through the portal you also accept Stripe's terms for that transaction.

The portal does not sell subscriptions, digital content, or in-app features. It is used solely to pay for real-world services.

If you believe an invoice is incorrect, raise a dispute through the portal or contact us directly before the due date so we can review it with you.

Accuracy of records

We work to keep the portal accurate and up to date, but figures displayed may be provisional or subject to adjustment — for example while a payment is settling or a dispute is under review. Our official accounting records govern in the event of a discrepancy.

Intellectual property

The portal, its design and its software are owned by Royal Protection NYC and its licensors. You may use the portal for your own business purposes only. Your own data and documents remain yours.

Availability

The portal is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend it for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. Nothing in the portal's availability changes our obligations under your service agreement.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the portal is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal. Our total liability relating to the portal will not exceed the amounts you paid through it in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the portal after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
